Peninsula Café in Maylands

THE PROJECT

This custom-built elevated commercial deck was built at the Peninsula Café in Maylands, right next to the heritage Tranby House, a very popular spot for brunch and a lazy coffee catch-up.

It has recently been completely refurbished in keeping with a style that ties in with the heritage feel of Tranby house.

Constructed using wire-brushed Ironbark, it includes a raised curve seat with cladding built around a tree and a seamless ramp for wheelchair access into the alfresco area.

Ironbark is the perfect option for high-volume commercial areas. The finished product offers a unique weathered look with greater structural integrity, slip resistance and requires virtually no maintenance.
